The Truth Will Out is a truism Dan Rather's mother apparently didn't instill in her son.

In Ann Morse's article The First Rathergate , she explains "On June 2, 1988, CBS aired an hour-long special titled CBS Reports: The Wall Within, which CBS trumpeted as the "rebirth of the TV documentary."

To summarize, Dan Rather and CBS interviewed Vietnam Vets who told horror stories that would leave viewers to believe our government advocated the slaughter and torture of civilians, including women and even children. Only it was all a lie. The military records of those in the story show the stories they told could not have been true. CBS didn't check or didn't care. Sound familiar?

You can, and should, learn more about this in the book by B.G. Burkett Stolen Valor: How the Vietnam Generation Was Robbed of its Heroes and its History (with Glenna Whitley).

In other news, we are learning that John Kerry pressured at least one Vietnam Vet to lie about attrocities in 1971. Read Steve Pitkin's affidavit on www.wintersoldier.com. See the Fox news report here.

It seems to me we are beginning a revolution. Eyes and minds are opening all over America. The truth will always out.
