More Proof of Media Corruption

Tom Brokaw joins Dan Rather and Ted Koppel in the Kerry Kamp Hall of Shame

Brokaw interview edited to cover up Kerry's records slip!

Brokaw replayed his Kerry interview from the other night. The other night Brokaw said: "Someone has analyzed the President's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do."

Kerry said: "That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, because my record is not public. So I don't know where they are getting that from."

Tonight Kerry said: ""That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it."

The rest of the sentence is suddenly GONE, nowhere to be heard. Out. Of. Here.

You can run John Kerry but you Can Not Hide. The truth is coming out. Sooner rather than later, God willing.

Here are the two conflicting versions transcripted:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6363856/
Brokaw: "Someone has analyzed the president's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do."

Kerry: "That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it."

Brokaw: "Do you think too many people in your party underestimate?"
And this link still has the original quote by Kerry:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6354942/
Kerry: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, because my record is not public. So I don't know where you're getting that from.

Also incriminating is this:
On the right here ( http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032600/ ) are links for the Kerry Interview and the Bush Interview. The link for the Kerry Interview goes directly to the edited version.

Kerry's non-honorable discharge

Exclusive: Earl Lively makes solid case senator left Navy under a cloud

By Earl Lively
© 2004

There is overwhelming evidence that the Navy gave John Kerry either a dishonorable discharge or an undesirable discharge – which is the equivalent of a dishonorable discharge without the felony conviction – and that, as a result of such discharge, he was stripped of all of his famous but questionable Navy awards and medals. And the kicker? The evidence is on his website!

Kerry's oh-so-clever handlers evidently depended on the ignorance of the public and the press about military records when they posted his 1978 "Honorable Discharge from the Reserves" on his site as part of a carefully selected partial release of his Navy records (the Navy says it is still withholding about 100 records). However, one diligent researcher, Thomas Lipscomb, saw through the scam and exposed it in a New York Sun story on October 13. Predictably, the major media has shunned the story.

Is Kerry the Manchurian Candidate?

MISSION: IMPLAUSIBLE
Hanoi urged U.S. activists to run for office
Kerry mirrored documented plan to 'plant progressive people'

By Art Moore

© 2004 WorldNetDaily.com

One of three newly discovered Vietnam War documents shows Hanoi's communist regime encouraged the U.S. anti-war movement's new strategy in the early 1970s of urging members to run for public office, a path John Kerry took when he vied for a congressional seat in 1972.

Hanoi said it maintained "relations" with an anti-war group closely tied to Kerry that sought "to eliminate reactionary candidates and plant progressive people in the Senate and House of Representatives," according to a "circular" issued in December 1971 and captured by U.S. troops the following May.

The document, noting that the U.S. anti-war movements have received "assistance and guidance" from Vietnamese communist delegations, outlines the strategy of the radical U.S. group People's Coalition for Peace and Justice, or PCPJ. That organization was tied to Kerry through Al Hubbard, a coordinating PCPJ member who also served as executive director of Vietnam Veterans Against the War while the future senator was its national spokesman and an executive committee member. The PCPJ also shared office space and conducted joint activities with the VVAW.

Stand Down

I have been asked by the highest authorities (No -- I will not expound) to not hold this Rally.

Although our actions and intent has been nothing but honorable, this effort will not serve our purposes.

My sincerest apologies for this but I must ask that we stand down...

I certainly hope the "highest authorities" know what they are doing and I don't like this anymore than anyone else but I must ask you to stand down.

We can however, return to our previous effort in getting the truth to media outlets, Congress, and other influencial organizations.

This was a great idea and I'm very disappointed -- I hope you will forgive me for this. I'm assured that all will be clear in time (yeah right).

News Flash of the Day

Okay, folks.

We got it finally. We have the Former Secretary of the Navy who stated, "Yes, Kerry did receive an Other Than Honorable Discharge".

Stay tuned for more...

Now to MAKE THE MEDIA AND CONGRESS LISTEN!

Go my brothers and sisters -- spread the news to everyone!!!!

- Chief
I will post more as it comes in. In the meantime refresh your memory with the story I first published way back when. HERE.

P.S. My money is on undesireable.

Update:
I got through to Zell Miller's office. They are dumb founded.

Sending the info to them now.

- Chief
Update II:

The swiftvet forums seem to be crashing periodically due to so many visitors waiting for a tidbit of meat on this morsel. The breaking news topic on that board is locked for unknown reasons. Feel free to discuss here using the comment feature.

Update III:

Another message from the Chief..

Do you really want to defeat Kerry as President?

Do you really feel deep down in your heart that this is the most important Presidential election in our history?

Will you sit by and watch as others try to defeat him?

Brothers and Sisters, how many people will be on the Capitol steps this Sunday, surrounded by media outlets and reporters from various organizations?

Will you join POWs in telling Kerry -- YOU ARE NOT FIT TO COMMAND!

Will you join Swifties in telling Kerry -- YOU ARE NOT FIT TO COMMAND!

Will you join Veterans in telling Kerry -- YOU ARE NOT FIT TO COMMAND!

Will you join any American in telling Kerry -- YOU ARE NOT FIT TO COMMAND!

I know you will go to the polls and vote against him. But will you not be heard by the rest of America?

Are you frustrated by the Media's lack of reporting Kerry's treason? His lies? His deception?

Do you want to do something besides excersizing your fingers and your phone?

Would you like to be seen and heard at the same time?

I'm talking the largest group of anti-Kerry people gathered in one place at one time telling the world:

JOHN KERRY IS NOT FIT TO BE OUR PRESIDENT!

If you knew that a man would knock on your door at precisely 7:00 a.m. and shoot your family, your friends, and you dead -- would you prepare for him and fight him? Would you not drop everything you were doing and get prepared? Would you not take the fight to him?

- Chief

Update IV:
Do you trust me? What I posted earlier is coming...
-Chief
Update V:
I need to reach a quota of say: 25,000 people at the minimum???

Does anyone know what the largest crowd for a Bush rally was? Whatever it is -- we need to surpass that to get the proper media coverage.

I know there have to be millions of people opposed to Kerry.

Let's make a statement, shall we?

- Chief
Update VI:

Date: Sunday Oct. 31, 2004

TIME: 1 PM meet at Naval Archives {NOT yard}
2 PM walk to Capital Building

DRESS: business/casual {yellow ribbon would be nice} I still think pajamas would have been better.

KERRY DISCHARGE - THE JIMMY CARTER LEGACY CONTINUES
MARK.SULLIVAN@CALAWCOUNSEL.COM | OTCOBER 29, 2004 | CAP'T DONALD L. NELSON,JAGC,USNR (Ret)

Posted on 10/30/2004 8:38:30 AM PDT by CHARLITE

Subject: KERRY DISCHARGE - THE JIMMY CARTER LEGACY CONTINUES

Words of Captain Donald L. Nelson, JAG corps USN ret I was on active duty as a U.S. Navy JAG when all of this was going on 25 to 30 years ago, and so was Mark F. Sullivan, who at all relevant times was the personal JAG to J. William Middendorf, then the Secretary of the Navy.

We are trying to break this absolutely true story nationwide, i.e., Fox News, C-Span, and hopefully the major networks. We are positive that John Kerry was one of those dishonorably dismissed from the Navy for collaborating with the Viet Cong after he was released from active duty but still in the Navy and for a totally unauthorized trip to Hanoi. He later got an "honorable" separation in 1978, some 12 years after joining the Navy, under President Carter's "Amnesty Program" for draft dodgers, deserters, and other malcontents who fled to Canada and Holland, among other places, to avoid military service to our country.

This is why he has refused, and continues to refuse, to release all of his Navy records: they reflect that he was Dishonorably Dismissed from the United States Naval Service. If they do not (which they do) he would have released them to the public. Again, he has not done so, because he well knows that the truth would kill his challenge to President Bush. If you would like to talk with me, I may be reached at telephone number (925) 964-0943 in Danville, California, or at DLNelsonSF@msn.com. Contact information for CAPT Sullivan is below.

Sincerely, DONALD L. NELSON CAPT, JAGC, USNR (Ret.)

9/11 Families Endorse President Bush

Let us compare endorsements for a moment shall we? For John Kerry we have Michael Moore and Enimen, Osama bin Ladan and Azzam the American aka Adam Yahiye Gadahn, Iranian Mullahs and Jacques Chirac, Yasser Arafat and the PLO, the Army of Ansar al Sunnah and the Kosovo Liberation Army, Cher and Rosey.

For President Bush we have The United States military, United States Veterans and former POWs, and the families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks on America. Rudy Giuliani and Ed Koch, Zel Miller and Bob Dole, Arnold and Billy graham.

Now think really really hard. Based on endorsements alone, which man will be a better Commander In Chief?

Three years ago, on the day that began as a beautiful September morning, 19 men and their sponsors carried out a brutal and devastating attack on our country, leaving 3,000 innocent men, women and children dead, including our loved ones. In those first agonizing hours, and for weeks and months afterward as we searched for word of their fate, we were aware that the shock and horror of that day was not ours alone. With a gratitude we could not yet express, we felt the strong and steady embrace of our fellow Americans. The words, “Never forget,” defiantly written in dust or humbly penned on makeshift memorials, were also permanently etched in our hearts. We will never forget your strength, your courage and your endless generosity.

We speak to you now in the same spirit that you spoke to us then, as Americans, united on behalf of our country. Like many of you, we feel that our nation is poised at a critical moment in history. Like our parents and grandparents before us, we know that the choices we make today will affect our children tomorrow. But we face a new challenge, a new kind of war and an enemy who is different from the enemies faced by earlier generations. This is not an adversary who can be reasoned with or appeased, this is an adversary who has repeatedly demonstrated that its means and ends are one and the same: the wanton slaughter of innocents.

After the attack, President Bush articulated the primary lesson of September 11, that simply reacting to danger after lives are lost is a weak and unacceptable national defense. He believes that taking the fight to the enemy is the best way to ensure that the enemy will not bring death to our doorstep here at home.

We agree.

Under the President‘s strong leadership in the war on terror and through the heroic efforts of our military forces, we are a safer country today. Two-thirds of al Qaeda leadership is dead, incarcerated, or on the run, its financing disrupted. The Taliban has been removed from power and training camps in Afghanistan and Iraq have been eliminated. On the domestic front, our dedicated law enforcement agencies are finally able to fight terror the same way they go after drug cartels; terrorists and terrorist cells have been thwarted in upstate New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Illinois and Florida

Osama Hits the Campaign Trail

I'm Osama bin Laden, and I Approved This Message.

Using words strangly similar to Kerry's recent campaign speeches, Osama claims President Bush is misleading the American people in a new video tape curiously released only moments after the tidbit about Kerry's less than honorable discharge hit the internet this afternoon.

Now I will readily admit I am feeling quite fanatical about the fact that a known traitor and self admitted war criminal is running for president while almost half my countryman cheer him on. Even so, I wouldn't go so far as to say that the Kerry campaign is coordinating with Osama and Al Qaeda. Only a right wing fanatic would think that. Oh, wait.

Lets take a look at sKerry's growing list of foreign endorsements. He has Osama. He has the KLA. He has Iranian Mullahs. He has Adam Yahiye Gadahn aka Azzam the American.

Not surprisingly Kerry's campaign is saying, "Please, No more foreign endorsements!"

Now, how long will it be before John Kerry arranges a secret meeting in Paris to discuss a 7 point peace plan? Maybe Jessie Jackson and Jimmy Carter will tag along.

Some commentary from Kimmymac:
bin Laden said: "The security of the American people does not lie with Bush or Kerry, or Al Quaida. It is in the hands of the American people."

bin Laden needs to substitute "American military" for "American people" and he will have it nailed.

"The security of the American people does not lie with Bush or Kerry or Al Quaida. It is in the hands of the American military."

So true, binny baby. And they will get you, sooner or later.

In the meantime, the American people will re-elect George W. Bush, since he understands that, and Kerry does not.

In the meantime, bin Laden: Shouldn't you be in Paris, peeling grapes for Yasser?

It's time to stop pussyfooting around with John Kerry.

This guy is a malapropism away from the presidency.

And what we learned about his character this week needs to be shouted from the housetops across America – because it doesn't appear my colleagues in the press are willing to share the information with the public.

Documents prepared by the Communist North Vietnamese government in 1971, and later captured by U.S. forces, show unmistakably that Kerry was operating under the direction of the enemy. He was being steered by Hanoi. He was being coached by the Viet Cong. And he was taking this direction, this steering and this coaching willingly.

In case you missed it, you can find all the gory details in a report in WorldNetDaily earlier this week. It's fascinating reading. But it is more than that 72 hours before Americans decide who is going to be the next president.

Think of what I am saying: A man who came to prominence and notoriety in American life, and who is now on the threshold of winning the White House, was actively aiding and abetting the enemy just 33 years ago. He was a tool. He was an agent. He was working for the other side.

That's why I say it is time to stop playing rhetorical games with respect to Kerry.

There is only one word in the English language that adequately describes what he was in 1971 – and what he remains today for capitalizing on the evil he perpetrated back then. That word is "traitor."

Who is NavyChief?

Interview with Troy Jenkins (aka NavyChief)
From InTheBullpen.com

Troy Jenkins Bio:
I recently retired from the US Navy as a CTIC (Cryptologic Technician Interpretive Chief Petty Officer). For short: A Chief. Navy Linguist with Russian and Spanish background. I personally served with Senator Kerry on the US/Russia Joint Commission on POW/MIAs from 1994 to 1998. Senator Kerry was MIA during my whole tour with the POW/MIA office to let you know some of my motivation in getting involved.

Evans: First off, what are your affiliations? Are you a member of the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth?

Jenkins: I Joined the Swift Vets site in August of this year after being disgusted by the media’s ignorance of “Official Navy Documents” and the speech given by former President Clinton at the DNC. At the time I did the research in the Vietnam Archives, I was a consultant for the Swift Vets. They paid my Hotel, Airfare, rental car and copying fees. I am too young to actually be a member of the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth, however I am obviously a supporter.

A little later in the interview he hints of more surprises to come:

Evans: Were there other documents that you found that have not been revealed by any member of the media thus far? If so, which ones and what do they contain?

<>Jenkins: I have a stack of approximately 175 papers that are all relevant to the Vietnam Veterans Against the War and closely associated anti-war groups. Many of these papers are complimentary to the previously released documents, some are unique – my secret :)

My Records Are Not Public - John Kerry

The same guy that has been lying through his teeth saying that ALL of his military records were available for public viewing on his website has just said his records are not public.

Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.

Kerry: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, because my record is not public. So I don't know where you're getting that from.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6354942/

WHAT? You mean you didn't sign the form 180 releasing ALL your military records? YOU DON'T SAY!

Apparently the senator was so rattled by the question put to him by Tom Brokaw regarding President Bush's IQ having been determined to be higher than his own. (see previous story) Mr. Brokaw, being a professional main stream journalist, chose not to notice the contradiction. (I'm Shocked. Shocked.)

My records were released before they weren't released. We get it.

He really did look shaken. I think that little tidbit is going to play havoc with his narcissistic personality disorder.

What's that you say?
Narcissistic Personality Disorder - Diagnostic Criteria

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
4. requires excessive admiration
5. has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
6. is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
7. lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
8. is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
9. shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

Stonewall Day 3

In a couple of hours it will be the third day the media has for the most part refused to report evidence that John Kerry was working with/for Hanoi in the seventies.

Lipscomb apparently wasn't on Brit Hume's program again tonight. I missed it and have not heard the official reason yet but will update when I get the word.

Chief did get a call from the senate majority leaders office and is now waiting for a call back with more information. Will update on that was well as I get the info.

A Message From The Chief

Okay, folks. This is it.

"Now is the time for all good men/women to come to the aid of their country"

I'm asking for everyone's support to defeat John Kerry. As many of you know, we have provided the ammunition for at the minimum of an investigation into Kerry's Communist ties. Yet, the media is playing dumb and the Congress is running scared.

I placed a phonecall to Senator Frist's office yesterday and was told the Chief of Staff would call me as soon as he got out of a meeting about the latest news on Kerry's Communist ties.

It never happened because we didn't apply enough pressure.

I need everyone to call Senator Frist's office: 202-224-3135

Request/demand that Senator Frist contact Troy Jenkins (me) about this news. Here's our only chance to see some real action on this. You need to call -- your friends need to call -- your family needs to call -- we all need to call TODAY!

I need someone to put out the call on all the conservative blogs that we need to help as well. Let's put all our voices together and SCREAM into Senator Frist's ear -- CALL TROY JENKINS!

Thanks,

- Chief

Email Gem of the Week

A gentle reminder not to take ourselves too seriously.

John Kerry Goes To Hell

One day in the future, John Kerry has a heart-attack and dies.

He immediately goes to hell, where the devil is waiting for him

"I don't know what to do here," says the devil. "You are on my list, but I have no room for you. You definitely have to stay here, so I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I've got a few folks here who weren't quite as bad as you. I'll let one of them go, but you have to take their place. I'll even let YOU decide who leaves.?

Kerry thought that sounded pretty good, so the devil opened the door to the first room. In it, was Ted Kennedy and a large pool of water. He kept diving in, and surfacing, empty handed. Over, and over, and over he dove in and surfaced with nothing. Such was his fate in hell.

"No," Kerry said. "I don't think so. I've got some shrapnel in my leg from Vietnam that bothers me sometimes so I don't think I could do that all day long."

The devil led him to the door of the next room. In it was Al Gore with a sledgehammer and a room full of rocks. All he did was swing that hammer, time after time after time.

"No, I have an old war injury on my arm and I would be in constant agony if all I could do was break rocks all day," commented Kerry.

The devil opened a third door. Through it, Kerry saw Bill Clinton, lying on the floor with his arms tied over his head, and his legs restrained in a spread-eagle pose. Bent over him was Monica Lewinsky, doing what she does best.

Kerry looked at this in shocked disbelief, and finally said, "Yeah, I can handle this."

The devil smiled and said . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

(This is priceless)

"OK, Monica, you're free to go."

Thomas Lipscomb to Appear on Brit Hume

The media is still yapping about the explosives that might or might not have been in Iraq before we got there and doesn't seem to have the time to talk about the fact that John Kerry was at best a useful idiot for Hanoi. At worst, a willing conspirator to sabotage our government and help our enemy in a war to defeat America.

I haven't said much (anything) about the whole missing (or not) explosive thing because it is a red herring and I refuse to play along. I'm not surprised every media outlet the American people count on is happily going along with Kerry's plan to repeat the story 234,320,532,980 times until people forget that it wasn't true to begin with.

HOWEVER. Thomas Lipscomb is going to appear on Brit Hume's show tonight and so maybe, perhaps, possibly, at least one station is going to pay attention to the JOHN KERRY IS A COMMUNIST COLABORATOR story. Hopefully, it will be picked up by other outlets once the ice is broken.

I eagerly await the spin on this one. It should be nothing short of hysterical. Imagine O'Donnell commenting on this story. Priceless.

Update: Lipscomb won't be on until tomorrow night. He's been bumped so they can talk some more about the ghost explosivies. Because we have not heard enough about that yet. Obviously.

Kerry's Democratic Convention Fraud Finally Exposed

An UNCONFIRMED report from The Bandit:
"The value of truth is one of the most central values in America, and this administration has violated it," Kerry said in an interview with The Washington Post aboard his plane. "Their values system is distorted and not based on truth."

In the world of politics when a candidate makes such harsh criticism of his opponent’s honesty, you can bet they themselves are guilty of the very violation they accuse their opponent.
The Bandit goes on to explain how Kerry has paraded Rev. David Alston around the country touting Kerry's heroic deeds in combat and used him to counter claims put forth by the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth. However, it is a pack of lies. Go figure. See another quote from Bandits post:
Newly released documents under the FOIA for David Alston shows he never returned to active duty during the time Kerry was in Vietnam commanding the swift boat PCF-94 after suffering wounds from an ambush on January 29, 1969.
What was that? Wasn't even there? The fog of war left him so befuddled he thought he witnessed events at which he was not even present? I see.

If you care to read the entire article and examine the timeline you can read Bandits post here.

For those of you who like your politics in easy to chew kibbles I will sum it up for you. Kerry Lied. Repeatedly.

Imagine that.

(I will have more to say about this when the documentation supporting it is available for vetting.)

Terrorists Attempt To Sway Election

Another story I don't want to talk about.

Some asshole terrorist sent a video tape warning the U.S. it will not be able to count the dead and the streets will run with blood because we elected George W. Bush.

Blah blah blah.. The. Terrorists. Are. Trying. To. Scare. Us.

Imagine that.

The people in charge have the tape and are doing their job. Until there is something more substantial than a terrorist trying to induce fear (shocker!), I'm not giving it any attention.

Once again I say. Figure out who the terrorists want to win this election, and vote for the other guy. It's not rocket science.

WHAM! Eleven Instances of Kerry's Writings Identified as Plagiarism

Researcher Alleges Potential Plagiarism in 11 Passages of Kerry's Writings

BY JOSH GERSTEIN - Staff Reporter of the Sun
October 26, 2004

An academic researcher has found 11 passages in Senator Kerry's published writings that appear to have been taken from other works without attribution, though experts disagree about whether the copying should be considered plagiarism.

Six of the passages come from Mr. Kerry's 1997 book, "The New War: The Web of Crime That Threatens America's National Security." All bear some similarity to news accounts that preceded publication of the book.

In one instance, Mr. Kerry wrote, "Russian mobsters have been arrested in Germany for extortion, car theft, counterfeiting, prostitution, selling drugs and illegal weapons, and smuggling everything from icons to uranium."

A 1993 Philadelphia Inquirer article, written by Barbara Demick, said, "Suspected Russian mobsters have been arrested in Germany and charged with extortion, car thefts, counterfeiting, prostitution, gambling, and selling drugs and illegal weapons. They have been caught smuggling everything from religious icons to uranium." Mr. Kerry's book contains endnotes but makes no reference to the Inquirer story.

Two newly discovered Vietnamese communist documents captured in 1971 show that the Vietnamese communists guided the American antiwar movement via meetings between the communist delegations to the Paris Peace talks and American antiwar activists. More Rumors and Whispers of Things To Come

I'm not excited about the Washington Times story that Kerry lied about meeting with the security council. I mean.. Kerry Lied is hardly news to those of us who have looked beyond the MSM for information on John Kerry. Kerry didn't lie might be considered news in this crowd. So the "revelation" was hardly that and definatly not worth staying up for.

However.. While snooping around trying to get the skinny on the mystery WT story I stumbled upon another rumor. Could it be that a very large story is lurking just around the corner? Could it have anything to do with secret meetings with unfriendly governments? Do I dare say it? Uhuh..

Why Do Swift Vets and POW's for Truth Endure?

This is no time for ease and comfort. It is the time to dare and endure.

- Winston Churchill

This post by
Bob Chamberlain, resource and research director at swiftvets.com forum, explains it as well as any I have seen. Based on Articles by Sydney H. Schanberg for Village Voice, it is not easy reading but is worth the effort. If you respect and cherish our freedom and the sacrifices made by our armed forces, don't you then have a responsibilty to make the effort to understand how and why they feel so strongly about John Kerry?

John Kerry, alone, is not responsible for what happened to these men - for the fact that our government left hundreds of men like them behind in Vietnam. John Kerry, alone, is not responsible for the fact that the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, which he volunteered to chair, did nothing to resolve the status of these men. But John Kerry's deliberate actions and personal ambitions are part of the reason these men never came home and may have continued to live in terrible captivity for decades after the Vietnam war ended for the rest of America. John Kerry is not solely responsible - but John Kerry is the only one of those responsible who is presently running for President. Out of respect for men like Thomas Moore and David Hrdlicka, out of respect for their families and their children who have never forgotten, we must hold John Kerry accountable.

John Kerry has never shown any real concern for our POW/MIA's. In the years before the end of the Vietnam war, John Kerry was a public and outspoken advocate of the Communist negotiating position to end the war. Specifically, he demanded that America surrender unconditionally, publicly announce a final date for the complete withdrawal of our troops, begin withdrawing our troops - and then (and only then) begin discussing the fate of our POW's. We have transcripts and even video footage of some of his pronouncements on the subject. On the Dick Cavett Show, June 30, 1971, John Kerry stated, “Now, if we were to set a date for withdrawal from Southeast Asia, we can – the [Communist] Vietnamese, first of all, have said [the POW issue] will be settled prior to the arrival of that date, but we can set a time limit on that. If the prisoners of war aren't back prior to the arrival of that date, then I think we would have – for the first time in all of our history in Vietnam we would have a legitimate reason for taking some kind of reaction to it.”

Eventually, the American government was forced by the rising anti-war sentiment to accept the terms offered by the Communists. On paper, America did not surrender unconditionally. The North Vietnamese agreed (on paper) not to invade South Vietnam. Of course, two years later, the North Vietnamese did invade - and America just sat on the sidelines and watched. But most importantly, America did accept the idea of setting a date for withdrawal - before talking about our prisoners. And when we got around to talking about our prisoners, we discovered that the Vietnamese claimed to have many hundreds fewer prisoners that the US believed to be the case. But what was President Nixon to do? There was no way that the John Kerry's and Jane Fonda's in America would allow him to rescind the promised troop withdrawals and go back to war. One condition of peace the Communists and John Kerry were adamant about was the US responsibility to make reparation payments to Vietnam. There is strong evidence that the Vietnamese held back prisoners as hostages to insure reparations were paid. President Nixon held out a carrot to the Communists - a promise of several billion dollars in reconstruction and economic aid. But the North Vietnamese held firm on their claim of holding only 591 POW's. Perhaps if President Nixon had actually started making these payments, the North Vietnamese might have "discovered" a few more POW's. But he didn't and they didn't - and only 591 men came home. So President Nixon applied the stick in the form of diplomatic and economic sanctions. Again, this did not work. Faced with a situation that he was powerless to change, President Nixon took the only course left open to him. He simply declared that all of our prisoners had been returned. This is the position our government has adopted officially ever since. No administration since Nixon has been willing to admit that America abandoned hundreds of men in Vietnam. To make such an admission would deeply tarnish the image of America and certainly cause great harm to the moral of our military. And what good would such an admission do if it did not lead to the return of our men? What were they to do, reopen the Vietnam war just to bring back the remains of a few hundred long-dead men?

My personal answer is yes. And it should have been done in 1973 while our men were still alive. Men are not potatoes. You do not weigh the worth of a man to determine if restoring him to life and liberty is a cost you are willing to pay. You keep faith with thse who have kept faith with you. You bring your men back - alive or dead - 700 hundred men or 1 man. It makes no difference. I would have marched to Hanoi to bring back one man and willingly accepted the risk of falling along the way. That is the way of honor, and few military men - then or now - feel any differently. You take care of your own. But John Kerry, Jane Fonda and hundreds like them had so inflamed American public opinion against the war that this way of honor was no longer open to the American government. I hold John Kerry responsible for his part in this. I hold John Kerry even more responsible because he publicly states that he is proud of his actions - and sees no need to apologize for them. We must hold John Kerry accountable.

In 1991, John Kery had an opportunity to atone, at least in part, for his actions that contributed to America leaving men behind in Vietnam. There was considerable evidence that US prisoners were left alive in Vietnam after the treaty was signed. This evidence included more than 1,600 firsthand sightings of live U.S. prisoners; nearly 14,000 secondhand reports; numerous intercepted Communist radio messages from within Vietnam and Laos about American prisoners being moved by their captors from one site to another; a series of satellite photos that continued into the 1990s showing clear prisoner rescue signals carved into the ground in Laos and Vietnam; and multiple reports about unacknowledged prisoners from North Vietnamese informants working for U.S. intelligence agencies. The intelligence data made clear that Hanoi's motive for holding back prisoners was ransom. The North Vietnamese kept them as pawns to extract from Washington the reparations money they believed they had been promised by Nixon and Kissinger.

In 1991, the US Senate formed the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs to look into these reports and determine once and for all the status of the men we believed (in many cases, knew) to have been in Communist hands, but who had not been released. John Kerry volunteered to serve as Chariman of this committee. John Kerry's larger and conflicting goal emerged over time: He wanted to clear a path to the normalization of relations with Hanoi and lifting of the trade embargo. The lack of resolution of the POW questions blocked any such normalization. In the committee's early days, Kerry gave encouraging indications of being a committed investigator. He said he had "leads" to the existence of POW's still in captivity. He said the number of these likely survivors was more than 100 and that this was the minimum. But in a very short time, he stopped saying such things and morphed into his role of working for the normalization of relations with Vietnam while denying that any significant number of live American prisoners had not been returned. John Kerry, using his power as chariman of the committee, covered up voluminous evidence that a significant number of live American prisoners, perhaps hundreds, were never acknowledged or returned. John Kerry suppressed testimony, had documents shredded and sanitized the committee's final report.

When Defense Department officials were coming to testify, Kerry had his staff director, Frances Zwenig, meet with them to "script" the hearing, as detailed in an internal Zwenig memo leaked by others. A protest memo from the staff reported: "An internal Department of Defense Memorandum identifies Frances Zwenig as the conduit to the Department of Defense for the acquisition of sensitive and restricted information from this Committee . . . lines of investigation have been seriously compromised by leaks" to the Pentagon and "other agencies of the executive branch." It also said the Zwenig leaks were "endangering the lives and livelihood of two witnesses." Zwenig advised North Vietnamese officials on how to state their case and promised them that they would not be asked any embarrassing questions.

A number of staffers became increasingly upset about Kerry's close relationship with the Department of Defense, which was supposed to be under examination. It had become clear that Kerry, Zwenig, and others close to the chairman had gotten cozy with the officials and agencies supposedly being probed for obscuring POW information over the years. Committee hearings, for example, were being orchestrated to suit the examinees, who were receiving lists of potential questions in advance. An internal memo from the period, by a staffer who requested anonymity, said: "Speaking for the other investigators, I can say we are sick and tired of this investigation being controlled by those we are supposedly investigating."

After promising to turn over all committee records to the National Archives when the panel concluded its work, John Kerry ordered crucial intelligence documents gathered by the committee staff to be shredded. The shredding stopped only when some intelligence staffers staged a protest. Some wrote internal memos calling for a criminal investigation. One such memo, from John F. McCreary, a lawyer and staff intelligence analyst, reported that the committee's chief counsel, J. William Codinha, a longtime Kerry friend, "ridiculed the staff members" and said, "Who's the injured party?" When staffers cited "the 2,494 families of the unaccounted-for U.S. servicemen, among others," the McCreary memo continued, Codinha said, "Who's going to tell them? It's classified."

The Kerry committee's final report, issued in January 1993, delivered the ultimate insult to history. The 1,223-page document said there was “no compelling evidence that proves that any American remains alive in captivity in Southeast Asia”. As for the primary investigative question, what happened to the men left behind in 1973, the report conceded only that there is "evidence ... that indicates the possibility of survival, at least for a small number" of prisoners in 1973, after Hanoi released the 591 POW's it had admitted to. The huge document contained no findings about what happened to the supposedly "small number" who had remained in captivity in Vietnam after 1973. If they were no longer alive, then how did they die? Of the so-called "possibility" of a "small number" of men left behind, the committee report went on to say that if this did happen, the men were not "knowingly abandoned," just "shunted aside."

Two senators, Bob Smith and Charles Grassley, refused to go along with the majority finding in the final report that said there was "no compelling evidence that proves that any American remains alive in captivity in Southeast Asia." But their dissent was relegated to a tiny footnote. The footnote said the two could not accept this finding "because they believe that live-sighting reports and other sources of intelligence are evidence that POWs may have survived to the present."

A year after he issued the committee report, on the night of January 26, 1994, Kerry was on the Senate floor pushing through a resolution calling on President Clinton to lift the 19-year-old trade embargo against Vietnam. In the debate, Kerry belittled the opposition, saying that those who still believed in abandoned POW's were perpetrating a hoax. "This process," he declaimed, "has been led by a certain number of charlatans and exploiters, and we should not allow fiction to cloud what we are trying to do here."

Kerry's resolution passed, by a vote of 62 to 38.

Everybody got something out of Kerry’s actions as chairman of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs - except for the POW/MIA’s and their families that the committee was supposed to help. The Vietnamese achieved the normalization of relations and the lifting of the trade embargo that they so desperately wanted. John Kerry got his picture hung in the War Remnants Museum in Saigon honoring his contribution to the communist victory in Vietnam.

In June of 1993, less than six months after the committee's report was released, as reported in a Boston Herald article by Michael E. Knell, "Colliers International brokered a $905 million dollar deal to develop a deep sea port in Vietnam.." To skirt the trade embargo still in effect against Vietnam, Colliers International acted through its partner firm Colliers Jardine based in Singapore. At the time the deal was brokered, C. Stewart Forbes, John Kerry’s first cousin, was the Chief Executive Officer of Colliers International.

Francis Zwenig, John Kerry’s legislative assistant and staff director of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, went on to become Vice President of the U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council and is now senior director for the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council, with responsibility for Vietnam.

The fate of our POW’s and MIA’s remains as unresolved as ever. All Americans should be ashamed. John Kerry does not bear sole responsibility for the failure of the Senate Select Committee to resolve any of the POW questions or to return any of our missing men. But John Kerry is the only one of those responsible who is presently running for President. Out of respect for men like Thomas Moore and David Hrdlicka, out of respect for their families and their children who have never forgotten, we must hold John Kerry accountable.

All That Buzz

Whispers and rumors abound this afternoon concerning an upcoming revelation that is going to send the Kerry Kamp into a tail spin.

I don't have specifics but word is to watch The Washington Times front page Monday morning.

Things that make you go hmm...

As Drudge would say..

developing..

Update: Ironically enough, from Drudge.. The Washington Times story is that Kerry did not talk to the UN Security Council as he claimed in the debate.

Here it is:
Security Council members deny meeting Kerry

No Questions, Please!

Kerry campaign retracted invitation after soldier’s mother asked a question Friday, October 22, 2004 Several weeks ago, John Kerry came to Canton. He needed help to support his election to become president. A member of his staff contacted a local grieving mother of a Stark County hero who gave his life for what he believed in.

The staff member asked her to come and speak at the rally. This young hero believed in God, truth, freedom and liberty. What more great qualities could an excellent soldier and son have?

After being contacted by phone, this fine, moral mother, having the same standards as her son, found out she was being selected to support John Kerry, as she is a registered Democrat.

She responded that she and her husband would appear at the rally but she would like to ask John Kerry a question. It could be in private or public. If done in private, she would not reveal his answer to the news media. She said she would even sign a statement not to reveal the answer.

The question was: Mr. Kerry, why did you vote against the $87 billion for the equipment for our troops?

The Kerry campaign, after hearing this, told this mother she wasn’t needed.

A few weeks later, President Bush came to Canton asking to meet with the families of the three Stark County fallen heroes. President Bush ex- pressed his sorrow, love and gratitude to these families.

The family I am writing about is the Jesse Buryj family. They are close friends of my wife and me — so close that Peggy and Steve Buryj and we are one military family.

Both families are voting for President Bush for the second time.

Please pray to God and support our troops.

Bob Ackerman,
Sandy Township

Editor’s note: Peggy Buryj corroborated the letter writer’s account.

Another Endorsment for Kerry

I am a senior citizen.

During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely good and well paying job.

I took numerous vacations and had several vacation homes.

Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for the worse.

I lost my job.

I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi war.

I lost my homes.

I lost my health insurance.

As a matter of fact I lost virtually everything and became homeless.

Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me.

I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year.

BUSH HAS TO GO!

Sincerely,

Saddam Hussein

What do you think of that!? I'm too flabbergasted to have much of a comment at the moment but this speaks for itself anyway.

Army of Ansar al Sunnah Praises John Kerry

Once again I have to ask; Why the hell is this election close? Figure out who the terrorist want to win it and vote for the other guy! GOOD GRIEF WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE! THIS ISN'T COMPLICATED!

The Army of Ansar al-Sunnah congratulates Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's Tawhid and Jihad movement's addition to the US State Department's list of terrorist organizations, reports Evan F. Kohlman. In the message, they praise John Kerry for criticizing the President, imply that terrorism has struck fear into John Kerry's heart, and that his election would signal that terrorism is working.
"Praise be to Allah, it increased the joy in our hearts that John Kerry, the presidential candidate criticized the Bush government for taking so long in making this declaration. The one who may be president of America [John Kerry] is already struck with terror by our brothers from the Tawheed wal-Jihad Movement [Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's group]. The repeated attacks that have targetted the evil Bush are now echoing on Kerry, even though he is not yet a president. This is what Allah means when he commands us to 'terrorize your enemy and the enemy of Allah."

IQ Evalutions Show - Bush Smarter Than Kerry

By STEVE SAILOR

On this tenth anniversary of the publication of the much-denounced The Bell Curve, it's amusing to reflect on one of the enduring ironies of American political life. Liberals tend to believe two things about IQ:

bullet First, that IQ is a meaningless, utterly discredited concept.
bulletSecond, that liberals are better than conservatives because they have much higher IQs.

Draft Rumors Hurting Troops

OLIVER NORTH - Last year, all four branches of the U.S. military met their retention goals and exceeded their recruiting objectives. But this week, the Army announced that last month it was 30 percent short of its target of 7,274 new recruits. Privately, some officers and senior NCOs are now grumbling that "all the negative coverage" and "draft talk" is hurting new enlistments.

Saving The World One Bingo Board Battle At A Time

Early today I was conducting a poll of Florida voters and I learned two important things rather quickly. One, I am surrounded by a bunch of animate rocks passing themselves off as humans and two, not a single solitary voting rock had a clue what Stolen Honor was or that Sinclair was doing a special about it. Having decided that American needs to see this program I decided the poll can wait and called for action. I also called my mother and told her we were going to war. Our plan is to blanket the area with posters alerting all New Port Richites to watch WTTA Friday night at 8pm or be forever Doomed.

I am just back from the first run. We ran off 8 mini-posters and left the house armed with a roll of packing tape and a box of straight pins. The weight of the mission laid heavily on my mind. If we can get our signs taped up in the right places perhaps people will see Stolen Honor and enough minds will be changed. Evil will have been vanquished. It occurred to me we were trying to save the world with straight pins and packing tape.

The first stop was the local Walgreens. Mom guarded the car while I sized up the place. Entry went smoothly but I ran into a snag while trying to locate my target. Seems nobody has a bulletin board anymore! I was standing in the front entrance eyeing the walls while holding my sign in one hand and industrial roll of packing tape in the other. My straight pins were stuck in my W NUFF SAID t-shirt. I was locked and loaded.

Suddenly I was spotted by an unfriendly. A woman with big gray hair and fire in her eyes. She was armed with a WALGREENS EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH badge and a royal blue apron. Our eyes met and she told me telepathically that if I put that sign up on HER wall I was going down and so was my sign. When she looked away I slipped out.

I wasn't about to give up. I stepped around a concrete column, out of HairHags line of sight. I sized up the concrete and decided the grooves were too deep to effect good stickage. Things were looking grim indeed.

No way I was going to admit defeat. Not even if I had to tape the thing to my body and stand in the lobby! As I contemplated our next move I leaned against a Newspaper box and it came to me. Divine Inspiration. Fishing 2 quarters from my pocket I deposited them and opened the door. I carefully slid my poster into the display window in front of the display paper and closed the door. Mission Accomplished!

Next stop was so simple it hardly bears mentioning. We pulled into a seniors MH condominium plaza (aka: trailer park for old Yankees) and hunted down the club house. Since it was BINGO night this was as easy as following the signs. I parked and boldly walked directly to the front door with my pre-taped sign ready to stick to the first flat surface I found. Inside I discovered there wasn't a soul around. I said, HELLO HELLO very sweetly (if not very loudly) and proceeded to stick my sign right in the middle of the big bingo bulletin board! Mission Accomplished!

The Bingo signs had given us another idea. Off we went to find another Bingo hall! Now this being Florida I have to tell you that it is not very hard to find a place to play Bingo. We drove about 2 blocks and saw another sign pointing us to the Civic Center it said "Bingo Tonight". Things were looking up. The Civic Center appeared just a few more blocks down the road and this time I waltzed right in the door with my pre-taped sign and my straight pins stuck in my W NUFF SAID t-shirt. I was greeted by THREE white coifed, immaculatly dressed, bejeweled, perfumed and made up Bulletin Board Guards! Bingo started at 5:45, it was 4:15 and they were loaded for bear. At first they didn't seem to notice my sign and tried to sell me BINGO cards. I used the distraction to my advantage and lulled them in complacency with idle chatter about how lucky I was to have found a local BINGO Hall. When I ran out of BINGO questions I causally mentioned I was looking for a place I could hang my sign and I glanced at the bulletin Board. Six eyes narrowed to little slits and three Ruby Pink Painted sets of lips pursed as they examined my sign. I felt like I was trying to smuggle drugs into an elementary school. Then, the Grand Puba Bulletin Board Guard bristled. I could tell she was the Grand Puba because when she crossed her arms over her very, VERY, large chest the other two BBGs leaned way back out of her line of fire.

She said, "Which party is it from?" You could have heard a pin drop. I knew if I didn't handle her carefully, I could blow the mission and bring doom down on the world. And I knew she wasn't going to be hoodwinked either. It was time for Drastic Measures.

I smiled my sweetest and most charming smile and explained it wasn't either party that made the film but that it was made by POWs of the Vietnam war and they just wanted to get their story told. She gave me the look that says keep talking because I know there is more to it than that.

So I said, "It will have political ramifications probably, but neither party put it together and neither party is endorsing it. That is why I didn't put anything about either democrats or republicans on the sign. We just want people to see the program and make up their own minds."

Silence. She didn't give me a hint what she thought of my explanation. One of the lesser Guards fidgetted. I was in sales once upon another life. I know how these stand offs work. She who speaks first looses. I was silent. Grand Puba was silent. Apparently she was in sales once too.

Suddenly the unexpected happened. The smallest of the Guards stood up to her full 4' 11" statue and leaned over the table. Balancing precariously on her walking cane she snatched the sign right out of my hands! With a singular purpose she marched, and I mean MARCHED, the entire three feet to the bulletin board and she slapped that baby right in the middle. She looked at me and she said, "that'll be just fine!"

I could have hugged her right in half. She nodded at the Grand Puba as if to say, "YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME?" and low and behold the Puba uncrossed her arms and SHRUGGED. And so this is how the world was saved.

The truth was the only way I was getting past The Grand Puba and her Bulletin Board Guards. And the Truth is what will save this country, indeed the whole world from the Evil Duck Hunter. The Truth and a roll of packing tape.

Kerry, Consistant After All

"I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations." Kerry 1970

"If you mean dying in the course of the United Nations effort, yes, it is worth that. If you mean dying American troops unilaterally going in with some false presumption that we can affect the outcome, the answer is unequivocally no." Kerry 1994

"But if and when you do it, Jim, you've got to do it in a way that passes the, the test, that passes the global test where your countrymen, your people, understand fully why you're doing what you're doing, and you can prove to the world that you did it for legitimate reasons." Kerry 2004

Witness: Kerry Flies US Flag Upside Down

Retired police chief of Lexington, Mass, Jim Corr, told journalist Leonard Saffir that after Kerry's arrest in 1971, upon his release after spending a night in lock up, he threatened to put Kerry back in jail because he was flying the United States flag upside down.

"Kerry was holding the American flag upside down.
"

"I told him to put the flag the way it’s supposed to be or you’ll be locked up again."

When The Man Comes Around

Pajama Journal Polls Suggest Bush Landslide

Taking a page out of Truegrit's Polling Technique 101, Pajama Journal has conducted not one but two new polls, putting our collective fingers on the pulse of west coast Florida.

Honk Poll - Bush up 7 to 1

This poll was accomplished by standing on the side of a busy highway (US 19) just before the President was scheduled to arrive, presumably arriving via said highway. There were a group of about 15 Bushies, myself and my mother included, who stood with signs supporting Bush. There were no Kerry bashing signs in our group. About 100 feet further north stood a group of about 5 Kerryites and 2 who were rather large young women, dressed entirely in black, lounged in lawn chairs. The Kerryites signs were about 50% the standard issue Kerry/Edwards campaign signs and about 50% homemade Bush bashing signs. One made with dripping red paint read, "Oil War".

Cars that honked or hung out windows yelling slogans like "4 more years!", thumbs up and other visible signs of support vs. honking horns and other visible signs of support at there Kerryite location were about 7 to 1 in favor of Bushies.

Parking Lot Poll - President Bush Wins Unanimously

This was a poll of opportunity. While circling the Wal-Mart parking lot looking for a space this past Saturday afternoon, on the sixth pass or so I decided to use the time productively by conducting a bumper sticker poll.

My efforts were almost thwarted by the fact that I didn't find a single bumper sticker supporting either candidate in the entire 973 acre lot. I had to resort to more intuitive measures.

Because our Military supports Bush over Kerry 7 to 1, I counted all cars sporting "support our troops" ribbons as a vote for Bush. Two ribbons counted as two votes figuring there are two voters in these families. American flags likewise were counted as a vote for Bush. Veterans license tags of course were a vote for Bush. I was tempted to count all pick-up trucks for Bush but wanted to be fair and so only counted rifle racks and fish stickers in pick-up trucks for Bush. NRA stickers for Bush. POW/MIA stickers for bush. In total I counted 117 of these visible signs of Bush support.

For Kerry I counted all communist flags such as the communist Vietnam flag he was so fond of supporting in the 70ies and found zero of these. I counted all American flags displayed upside down similar to the cover of his book, "The New Soldier" for Kerry and found zero. Any "green peace" type sticker, smiley faces, psychedelic bears and peace signs were to be for Kerry but also found zero of these.

ABC News or ABC spin

As if Dan Rather's use of forged documents to try to discredit President Bush shortly before the election was not enough of a clue to the mainstream media's political agenda, ABC News has now joined CBS News in the political spin game.

What ABC News has done was too elaborate to be called a "mistake." Now that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth have become too well known for the mainstream media to continue ignoring them, ABC's Nightline with Ted Koppel has broadcast its "investigation" of one of the Swift Boat veterans' charges against John Kerry.

Kerry Crosses TWO Police Picket Lines in Orlando Yesterday - But it's OK it is Bush's Fault

On June 26th of this year John Kerry refused to cross a police picket line in Boston, telling the Globe, "'I don't cross picket lines. I never have."

However, in a shocking, SHOCKING!... reversal, yesterday, he crossed not one but two police picket lines.
Officer Paul Bruning, said the union notified Democratic officials in Miami last week of its plans to picket Kerry both at Orlando International Airport and at the Barnett Park Recreation Center. The officers' contract expired Oct. 1. The city has offered the membership a 2 percent raise, as it did all city labor unions. The union is seeking 4 percent.

Kerry's Missing Draft Plan Found

Earlier this year on John Kerry's website you could have read about his plan to require national service for high school students. That page had been deleted mysteriously shortly before Kerry began accusing President Bush of a secret January draft surprise. President Bush has said as long as he is President there will be no draft.

Lately, you can be pretty sure that whatever the democrats are accusing republicans of, is what the democrats are actually up to. Preemptive accusations to innoculate themselves in case they get caught. Which leads us to Kerry's draft plan.
As part of his 100 day plan to change America, John Kerry will propose a comprehensive service plan that includes requiring mandatory service for high school students and four years of college tuition in exchange for two years of national service.
You can read the entire text or doubting thomases can verify this was actually part of Kerry's published platform, from his own website, before it was changed. Follow this link from web.archive.org : Kerry's Vanished Webpage

UPDATE: For some strange reason (cough) Way Back Machine suddenly won't display this page. Imagine that.

Somehow I don't expect that I will be reading about this in The New York Times. Maybe I'll send a memo over to Dan Rather. Yeah, That's the ticket.

Terry McAuliffe, "John Kerry may need a draft"

In a debate between Terry McAuliffe & Marc Racicot (Bush-Cheney Campaign Chairman) at the Potomac School Monday, McAuliffe was asked how Senator Kerry planned to increase the military with two new divisions and add 40,000 troops without instilling a draft.

McAuliffe responded by saying "the way George Bush is going and countries leaving Iraq, John Kerry may need a draft."

And so the truth outs.
